Tuesday hauling

So I had a little trip along to Boots as you do, and picked up a few bits to share with you.  I wanted the garnier perfect blur for a while to try as a primer and to see if it really did blur out the effects of all your skin horribleness, I am yet to try it so I shall let you all know if it's as perfect as it sounds. At the time, skin care was on a 3 for 2 offer and I couldn't not buy another time items, Its literally impossible, so I picked up La Roche Posay Effaclar K to use in the day as I enjoy using the Effaclar Duo in the night, I can't say I have noticed a massive difference in my skin since using it but I guess I need to use it for a little longer and see what happens. I couldn't think of what to pick up as my last skincare item and had heard a lot about the Una Brennan range so thought I would pick up something to try out, and I love a good face mask so went for the Neroli Firming Face Mask which is a clear gel like formula that feels quite cooling on the skin, you can leave it on over night as an added moisturiser or you can wash it off after 10 minutes, I haven't used this yet either so will do a review as soon as I have tested it out enough.

I picked up there boots own nail varnish remover as I had run out and it was one of the cheapest, i'm not really fussy when it comes to nail varnish removers as long as it takes my nail varnish off i'm happy. The only make up items I picked up was the Rimmel salon pro nail varnish in the colour barmy blue as look at it, its such a perfect bright blue pretty similar to the nails inc baker street (which I had for my birthday and its so lovely!) I can't wait to try out this version to see how it compares in colour wise. Last but not least the maybelline gel eye liner jumped in to my basket, now I suck at eye liner, I suck at gel eye liner and liquid I can't deal with but I am trying, and this hasn't really helped my progress but I am trying!!

Any tips on how to perfect eye liner?

xoxoxo

  1. Let me know what you think of the Maybelline gel liner! I've never tried a gel liner and I'm interested in this one.

  2. Just thought I'd stop on my stalking journey and say those Rimmel Salon Pro nail polishes are AMAZING! I have one in a pink shade and it is super easy to apply, leaves an awesome glossy affect and doesn't chip for days! One of the best nail polishes I have found. That's a lovely shade you picked up, I hope you find it as amazing as I have :)

If you're interested, I've tagged you in a competition on my blog to win £1000 to do something on your bucket list. It's a bit short notice as I was only tagged myself last night and the competition ends tonight, whoops! xx
